If you’re not sure what the “grey stuff” is, you probably haven’t seen Beauty & The Beast or been to Disney World. The “grey stuff” is mentioned in the Be Our Guest song, “Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious. Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes.” They also serve it as a dessert at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Disney World.
I’ve seen lots of recipes for it all over Pinterest, but wanted to give it an easier try myself! I, personally, haven’t eaten at the Be Our Guest restaurant at Disney. I’m not sure how I’ve missed the infamous dining room, but I have. It’s going on my list for must-do’s the next time we head to Disney, whenever that may be!
In the meantime, we can enjoy our own version of the “grey stuff,” in honor of the new Beauty & The Beast. It was amazing btw! Anyone else seen it yet? The girls in the family got together for a special girl’s night viewing of the movie. Loved it!!
Grab the recipe at the bottom of the post.
I filled the short/fat mason jars & created a simple printable label for the tops of the jars. I used washi tape to attach a plastic, pink spoon to each one. They turned out adorable! They would be absolutely perfect for a Beauty & The Beast themed party!
We may or may not have snuck these into the movie theater.
Here’s the image I used for the tops of the jars. I printed mine so that 9 fit on one page & they ended up being the perfect size. You can print onto paper/cardstock & cut by hand or with a circle cutter. You could even print them onto white vinyl or sticker paper, then have your cutting machine cut them for you. I have tools available to do all of the above, but was in too big of a hurry. So I just cut them by hand! Hence, the non-perfect circles…oops! Don’t look too closely at my photos y’all!
