Good morning y’all!
The Christmas countdown continues with 8 days! This is when I start to get like realllllly excited. Like a little girl getting a unicorn excited!!!!!!
Anyway, I’m sure some of you are still looking for super easy/super cheap ideas for gifts, deserts, fun projects, basically everything & I’m with ya, because the Christmas never stops. Never!! Okay, maybe on Dec. 26, but not a moment before.
I have this amazing secret to share. I hope you can handle it.
“Homemade” doesn’t have to be hard! These candy bars dipped in chocolate & sprinkles are considered homemade because you put that extra touch on them & take them out of the packing. People may even think you really made the entire candy bar yourself & that’s okay. Let them think whatever they want! You don’t even have to tell them otherwise. I would be delighted to receive a bunch of candy bars dipped in chocolate. Believe me.
To make some of your own pick out your favorite mini candy bars, white chocolate bark & sprinkles.
Unwrap all the candy bars & throw those wrappers away quick before anyone even sees them.
Feel free to put on an apron on this point, it will make you look like you’ve been slaving away on these babies.
Melt your chocolate in the microwave according to package directions & start dipping the candy bars in, one by one.
Line them up on wax paper to dry & cover up in festive sprinkles. Place in the fridge for them to set faster. Package them up in clear cellophane bags with curly ribbon & a tag.
You just made homemade Christmas gifts in half an hour. High-five yourself.
Extra points for serving them on my DIY candy cane tray- directions here.
Christmas Blessings Y’all!
