I love all kinds of chocolate barks. I remember when my mom taught me all about barks as a little girl. We made an Oreo one at Christmastime with white chocolate. So simple but so addicting!
Barks are good for a handful of reasons- you can use up all your leftover sweets & treats, they are so easy, they are quick, kids can make them, you can make them out of basically anything & it will (almost) always taste scrumdidlyumptious. Just like this white chocolate/pretzel/chocolate chip version all dressed up for Easter.
Barks are so simple to put together & this sweet & salty version is no different. Line a 9X13 pan with parchment paper & scatter your desired number of pretzels across. I broke a few of mine here & there so they’d fit a little better.
Things went pretty quick after this step, with my chocolate melting & all, so I didn’t get many photos. It’s a breeze though, so I think you’ll get it!
I used mini chocolate chips in between my layer of chocolate & added spring sprinkles all over the top. You can melt the chocolate any way you want. I did mine at 30 sec. intervals in the microwave, stirring in between.
Let it set in the freezer until firm, at least half an hour. Then comes the fun part, you get to break it all up & eat!
The mini chocolate chips added a sweet crunch in contrast to the salty pretzels. Obviously, you can change this up & use a different variation for each holiday.
